Vincent and The Millionaires were formed in December 2001 and have rapidly
gained a reputation throughout the UK as one of the hottest live acts
on the Swing Jive and 50's Rhythm and Blues Scene with their authentic
and exciting performances. Concentrating on the female American R'n'B
stars such as Etta James and Ruth Brown through to LaVern Baker and Ella
Mae Morse, their lively shows also include good rockin' jivers from the
likes of Louis Jordan, Wynonie Harris and Louis Prima.
Equally
at home with a swing/jive set, or full on rock and roll, The Millionaires
have played some of the most prestigious venues and events in Europe to
fantastic receptions, including The Rhythm Riot and Hemsby Rock'n'Roll
Weekenders through to London's famous 100 Club and many blues/jazz events,
including the Burnley and Colne Blues and the Birmingham Jazz Festival.
Much
sought after also for society weddings and corporate functions, The Millionaires
are first and foremost a dance band for all ages - from 7 to 70, their
blend of "feel good" Rhythm and Blues and Swing will get you
jumpin' and jivin' all night long.
